With Every Goodbye, You Learn…

After A While  After a while you learn the subtle difference between holding a hand and chaining a soul and you learn that love doesn’t mean leaning and company doesn’t always mean security.  And you begin to learn that kisses aren’t contracts and presents aren’t promises and you begin to accept your defeats with your head up and your eyes ahead with the grace of woman, not the grief of a child and you learn to build all your roads on today because tomorrow’s ground is too uncertain for plans and futures have a way of falling down in mid-flight.  After a while you learn that even sunshine burns if you get too much so you plant your own garden and decorate your own soul instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.  And you learn that you really can endure you really are strong you really do have worth and you learn and you learn with every goodbye, you learn…  💟 Veronica A. Rising From Cocoon !

Transformation is not a kind place, it’s chaotic and a source of inner conflict because it is not a ‘safe’ place, but it is a place of growth; a place of rebirth where you can restart and realign with who you are.

Life is Waiting

Surely the pain of staying in a box too small for you is greater than the pain of growth. Step out, you are far too magical and powerful for that grey half life. Life is waiting. Love your bones, your flesh, your heart and soul; give them room to grow. Face yourself, take yourself in your hands and make a promise to forgive yourself, you owe yourself life, love and beauty. This box of your own making, and with the hands of others does not suit you and yourprecious life. Wake up sleeping beauty, kiss your wounds and awaken, the world is waiting to feel your feet upon her, your heart is waiting to be lived in. - Brigit Anna McNeill

Start looking inside yourself…

Nobody can say anything about you. What so ever people say is about themselves. But you become very shaky, because you are still clinging to a false center. That false center depends on others, so you are always looking to what people are saying about you. And you are always following other people, you are always trying to satisfy them. You are always trying to be respectable, you are always trying to decorate your ego. This is suicidal. Rather than being disturbed by what others say, you should start looking inside yourself… Whenever you are self-conscious you are simply showing that you are not conscious of the self at all. You don’t know who you are. If you had known, then there would have been no problem— then you are not seeking opinions. Then you are not worried what others say about you— it is irrelevant! When you are self-conscious you are in trouble. When you are self-conscious you are really showing symptoms that you don’t know who you...

Concious Soul Cares Less For Others Judgements

Today I wore a pair of faded old jeans and a plain grey baggy shirt. I hadn't even taken a shower, and I did not put on an ounce of makeup. I grabbed a worn out black oversized jacket to cover myself with even though it is warm outside. I have made conscious decisions lately to look like less of what I felt a male would want to see. I want to disappear. Sierra D. Waters

I've learned to heed the call of my heart.

I have not always chosen the safest path. I've made my mistakes, plenty of them. I sometimes jump too soon and fail to appreciate the consequences. But I've learned something important along the way: I've learned to heed the call of my heart. I've learned that the safest path is not always the best path and I've learned that the voice of fear is not always to be trusted. Steve Goodier
